Raptuous applause should be given each time the ‘Teko’ brand name is mentioned.  Whilst some kit manufacturers are ticking the boxes to make their products more eco-friendly, Teko [cue: applause] is a company absolutely dedicated to the cause. The packaging (100% recycled and printed with soy-based inks) boasts ‘ we not only make the best socks on the planet, we make the best socks for the planet. Its a big statement but Teko have got a point.

I stumbled across a site promoting these Organic Bamboo socks from a company called ‘Stick-e’.

The product was developed as a hygenic, safe, non-slip yoga sock for which they’re perfect but as a runner my first thought was how they would be ideal for stretching and strengthening exercises on wooden and slippery floors at home.
